This latest addition to the crop of maternity wear stores aimed at hot mamas is also a great place to shop for baby showers. Novelty items include a pregnancy belly–cast kit from Proud Baby ($59), Preggy Pop candies ($12) that help morning sickness, and “Big Brother/Sister” Ts ($25) for soon-to-be older sibs. A small play area with colouring books keeps kiddies amused while moms shop. Clothing is mostly casual and fun, with choices from Ripe, Maternal America, Minnow and Momee Maternity. There are a few suits from Jules et Jim, and bras and nursing tanks from Bravado; items from Boob do double duty as nursing wear. Most tops and skirts are $50 to $90, pants $50 to $100.
