The four showrooms in David Beaton’s furnishings empire offer something for every King East browser. In the Baker studio, it’s all Rosedale-ready hardwoods; the mahogany Palladian dining table ($10,720), for instance, perches elegantly on four central columns. The Dedon showroom offers an eclectic, modernist mix: a pair of loveseats ($7,333 each) that form a yin-yang symbol are whimsical and weatherproof. Barbara Barry’s designs fill a third showroom here; the Bracelet chair (from $2,535) is a signature piece. And the McGuire studio has an Asian sensibility, with bamboo and rattan pieces, such as the Laura Kirar barrel lounge chair ($4,900).
