Take a trip back to Kensington Market of yore, when shopping a mix of new, used and vintage imports from Thailand, Nepal and China meant pawing through incense-scented piles in search of buried treasure. There’s plenty to be found, like winter and leather jackets galore for men and women—unisex Nepalese wool coats in earth tones are priced from $60–$90. Vintage tees ($5–$250) and vintage dresses ($18–$100) are popular. There are also cute sundresses ($29) and colourful wraps ($25–$65) in bright recycled cotton. At the front cash, there are smoking accessories, new and vintage big belt buckles, black and white checkered Palestinian scarves ($15) and, for one lucky size 32 denim collector, a pair of mint original Levi’s Big Es ($2,000).
