Set in a pine barn with walls that open to reveal a view of fields and a pond, this festival combines theatre and music with country charm. The barn seats 400, but budget buffs can bring a blanket and sit on the grassy slope for a mere $15. A series of concerts, mostly held on Tuesday evenings and weekend afternoons, enhances the summer lineup; Saturday evening concerts have recently been added. Arrive early with a picnic, pre-order a basket ($18 per person) or dine at Capers Casual Dining (705-653-5262) in Campbellford; stay at the Gallery Bed and Breakfast (705-924-1853, 1-800-311-2600).
