The shelves are tall and packed at this Italian shop. A close inspection reveals such treasures as porcini cream, Italian chili paste, and porcelain urns of Italian cherries in syrup. And then there’s the deli counter: row upon row of salami and other cured meats, from casalingo to bresaola to prosciutto di Parma. On top of the chilled cases are seven kinds of not-too-sweet biscotti. But that’s not all: there are four more shelves of olive oils and vinegars, many types of anchovies, foie gras terrine, chocolates and nougats.
