Lee’s Palace and the Dance Cave

The concert stage is a black hole, and the mural over the main entrance is tawdry. In short, this is the perfect rock club. Lee’s has played host to everyone from Nirvana and Yoko Ono to Creed and Bif Naked. Upstairs, the Dance Cave holds a series of themed nights, with early-’80s retro on Monday; retro and mod music on Thursday; and soul, garage and alt-rock on Friday and Saturday. Cover for Lee’s varies: Dance Cave $6 on weekends, no cover Monday to Thursday. Students always get in free (with student ID) at the Dance Cave.
