An elegant response to Toronto’s ongoing affair with restaurant–lounge–dance club hybrids. Early in the evening, long communal tables sit like sumptuous dining cars on the Orient Express, candlelight twinkling against the former factory’s thick spruce beams and maple flooring. Ample booths are dotted cozily around the edges (bottle service is the ticket to reserving these choice spots), and beautiful people mingle discreetly. As the evening progresses, the tables magically disappear, and lo, Brant House is a dance floor, with DJs spinning a sophisticated musical web.
