This third annual afternoon event, organized by trombonist Scott Thomson, mixes Queen West, improvised music and storefront galleries. Beginning at Trinity Bellwoods Park and moving west to Gladstone Avenue, more than 60 improvising musicians appear in diverse ensembles, with a new performance beginning every 10 minutes along the way. The day’s festivities end with an after party at the Gladstone Hotel; among the offerings are a solo performance by poet and sound-singer Paul Dutton, and a show by Christine Duncan’s 20-member Element Choir. — Stuart Broomer
