Italian Seasons Festival, Autunno

  • Various Locations
On cold November evenings, little is as comforting as a bowl of rich pasta, and the fall edition of the Italian Seasons Festival offers up hearty fare just in time. Twenty-three restaurants (such as Tutti Matti and Mistura) are participating, importing authentic ingredients to create special table d’hôte menus. Chase Wine & Grill (3471A Yonge St., 416-440-0211) is offering a three-course meal that includes a grilled swordfish steak with Sicilian capers ($35), while Zucca Trattoria proposes a four-course menu ($60) featuring the root vegetables, truffles, pomegranate seeds and squash that are unique to the season.—Laura Trethewey
