Another small-batch brewing company has popped up in the city’s west end, but the drink being kegged and tapped isn’t beer, it’s coffee. Station Cold Brew’s Junction Triangle production space is now open to the public. Customers can order cups of the trendy caffeinated beverage at the on-site draught bar, or grab stubbies or cold-brew concentrate to go. And in true brewery form, there’s growlers of the stuff available, too. The company teamed up with local artist and yogi Edane Padme to create a line of coffee-based skincare products (like beard balm, of course, and a scrub made with coffee grounds) that are for sale alongside the brand’s other merch. The brewery is now open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with plans to extend those hours and open a take-out window on weekends.
