Two years ago, Bacon Nation combined two of Toronto’s great guilty pleasures—bacon and deep-fried fairground food —to much fanfare (and really long CNE lines). Now, brothers Andrew and Dan Motta have graduated from snack booth to downtown storefront. Bacon Nation will officially open on Canada Day, but we were curious to see what kind of bacon-on-bacon action was going down at their new shop, so we dropped by for a preview. Here are nine items on the menu, ranked in order of bacon-y ridiculousness.

A bacon-wrapped chicken breast on a Kaiser roll with grilled tomato slices, lettuce and garlic-dill ranch spread. This is practically a totally normal sandwich. Vegetables, even! Peppercorn bacon on a Kaiser roll with banana peppers, deep-fried onions, lettuce and yellow mustard. Still fairly tame. 279415 3. Bacon-Caramel Cheesecake

279418 7. Nutella-Bacon Sandwich

I hope everyone that eats there and the owner of the place dies of a heart attack!!
Wow! Feel like vomiting just looking at these pics. Wth is wrong with restaurants? Looking for the fastest ways of giving people clogged arteries and heart disease?
Glad to see the comments here are sharing the love.
People who eat here will be well aware of what eating this and nothing but this will cause. Hate it? Don’t eat there. Stop. Whining.
Why?
Wow! Thank you for the personal death wish, and wishes for the genocide of our entire nation of devout bacon lovers…
Bacon has a way of evoking really strong emotions, though usually they are very positive. As the oldest tried and tested, most beloved comfort food in the world dating back to 1500 BC, it’s not going anywhere. It’s never been more popular than now. Most people LOVE bacon.
We found this out when we opened our doors in 2012 to overwhelming lineups. People are very passionate about their bacon, even those that are not supposed to eat it for religious or other personal reasons. It is most people’s favourite guilty pleasure.
Though we appreciate your suggestion that bacon is imminent death…. we invite you to read up on it and explore the options. Everything in moderation. Actually there’s a woman who recently made the headlines at 105 years old for suggesting the secret to her longevity is eating bacon every day…

We’ve made our all bacon patties used in all our burgers over 50% leaner by adding Pemeal (Canadian Bacon) to the blend, while maintaining the “all bacon” flavour and content, and staying true to our Canadian roots.
Our menu includes everything from very bacon heavy dishes for the bacon lover, to bacon topped salads and healthier options like turkey bacon. We are also exploring Beef Bacon as a very lean alternative. However don’t fret, we will always have old school bacon sliced thicker than grandma’s reading glasses for the bacon purists.
We aim to be the place of worship for the millions of bacon enthusiasts, the holy grail of bacon.
We realize it’s not for everybody. And quite frankly we are okay with that….

And who should care about the genocide of pigs… One of the smarts animal around. And The gestation crates… Cruelty of the worst kind!! Shame!!!
http://bacontoday.com/top-10-reasons-bacon-is-actually-healthy-for-you/
much love to you fellow human. why so angry?
yes, blame the restaurants that are forcing people to eat there.
Are you and Hitler somewhat related…
because eating pigs needs to stop… Pigs are one of the most intelligent animals… People who eats them are closer to Hitler actually.
and what about the slaughter of the carrots!! Pulled out by their hair from their homes and stuffed in to baskets and bags, or the culling of their children, it sickens me to think that people eat baby carrots, pigs…
Bacon’s alright, but nowhere near deserving the praise it gets. Some of the gimmicky food concoctions it has spawned are positively vomit inspiring (e.g. bacon milkshakes, bacon-flavoured candy).
Still, I wish the owners of Bacon Nation the very best!
That’s just mean-spirited…
