The freak-milkshake trend is touching down in the GTA. On February 15, Oshawa’s Hollywood Cone (the place behind the $77 shake) is launching a line of “Mutant Milkshakes” (inspired by Australian bakery Patissez’s gravity-defying creations). Owners Tom Seaton and Joe Kelsey start their stunt shakes with a base of 11.5 per cent milk-fat ice cream, and then finish them off with house-made baked goods and candy-bar toppings. We ranked them from gluttonous to brings-all-the-boys-to-the-yard.
Shake: Vanilla ice cream.
Topping: One pizzelle waffle and a slice of warm apple pie (with a hole in the centre).
The Chief Wiggum
Shake: Vanilla ice cream with coffee.
Topping: Two pink-frosted sprinkle doughnuts.
Grandma’s Philly-Style Cheesecake
Shake: Vanilla ice cream, a square of cherry cheesecake and cherry sauce.
Topping: A slice of cherry cheesecake and whipped cream.
Shake: Vanilla ice cream and Nutella.
Topping: Two full-sized Nutella-stuffed doughnuts.
Shake: Vanilla ice cream (with blue food colouring), pink icing, sprinkles and vanilla cake.
Topping: One pizzelle waffle and a slice of vanilla birthday cake.

Suck it up, Buttercup

Topping: Nutella rim, mini Reese cups and Oreos, Nutella whipped cream, more Oreos and Reese cups.
Shake: Vanilla or coconut cream pie shake (in which a full slice of coconut cream is mixed into a vanilla shake).
Topping: One or two slices of coconut cream pie, whipped cream and toasted coconut.
Shake: Chocolate or vanilla ice cream with salted caramel and Skor pieces.
Topping: A Jersey Milk ice cream sandwich (vanilla ice cream, salted caramel and Skor pieces sandwiched between two Jersey Milk chocolate bars), topped with whipped cream and Belgian milk chocolate sauce.
Please Sir, May I Have S’more
Shake: Chocolate ice cream, marshmallow sauce, graham crackers, chocolate shavings, Belgian chocolate sauce.
Topping: Double-stacked s’mores (three graham crackers with two pieces of chocolate and two jumbo-sized scorched marshmallows).
Salty Little Focker
Shake: Vanilla ice cream with salted caramel, crushed pretzels, Nutella, brownie, salted caramel and Nutella drizzle.
Topping: Nutella rim, pretzel twists, a large brownie, whipped cream and salted caramel drizzle.
Shake: Vanilla or chocolate ice cream, Reese cups, cheesecake, brownie, Belgian chocolate and Reese drizzle.
Topping: Peanut butter rim, mini Reese cups, one big brownie, a slice of cheesecake, one regular-sized Reese cup, whipped cream and Belgian chocolate sauce.
Fat Kid in a Candy Shop
Shake: Vanilla ice cream, crushed Kit Kat, Butterfinger, Crispy Crunch and Reese Peanut Butter Cups, caramel and Belgian chocolate drizzle.
Topping: Peanut butter rim, mini Reese cups, mini Crispy Crunch, four full-sized chocolate bars (Kit Kat, Oh Henry, Twix, Mr. Big), whipped cream, caramel and Belgian chocolate drizzle and a full-sized Reese cup.
