(The signage is visible to anyone traveling east on the King streetcar, around Dufferin). Holborn has gone almost 600 days without consuming the white stuff.
That box of white Minute Rice on his counter is another form of sugar to the cells of his body. However, by mixing these simple carbs with a protein, one can change them to complex carbs which are metabolized more slowly and are therefore, healthier. Add some fibre or replace the white rice with brown rice which is higher in fibre, and it becomes even healthier. There are many forms of hidden sugars, including fruits, juices, sauces, soups, etc. The key to a healthy diet is variety and balance and avoiding processed foods.

I’ve actually gotten good results so far from a Paleo Diet. Staying away from some of my favorite junk food is hard, but the results are making it worth it everyday.
I just followed a guide and made sure I didn’t do anything too ridiculous.
