“My Choice” TIFF packages are sold out! Did you get your tickets?

TIFF is shaping up to be quite an event this year: artwork by James Franco, starring roles for Nicolas Cage, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel Weisz, and premieres from Canadian filmmakers including Bruce McDonald, Guy Maddin, David Cronenberg and Sarah Polley. With the annual fest just under a month away, Toronto has TIFF on the brain—so much so, in fact, that ticket packages are selling out very fast.

That’s right, all “My Choice” packages for $50 or less, $51 to $99 and $100 or more are no longer available, but Torontonians and TIFF visitors alike can still purchase “TIFF choice” packages now, or single tickets (premium price $38.27, regular price $19.69) starting September 3 at the Festival Box Office. Since the entire festival film schedule will be available as of August 23, it will be important to create a shortlist of what to see in advance in order to land a few single tickets. Where buyers can wait in line, after the jump.

Starting August 23, the Toronto International Film Festival box office will be located at the Metro Centre, 225 King Street W., on the Concourse Level, and the entrance can be found on Duncan Street.

Tickets are also available by phone at 416-599-TIFF or 1-888-599-8433, but if our experience trying to get Spice Girls tickets over the phone is any indication, we’d rather wait in line.
