“Go west, young man” seems to be the credo for stars at this year’s TIFF. While Grey Goose Soho House has hosted some major names, many celebrities are migrating west to new restaurant Hudson Kitchen at Dundas and Palmerston. The space hosted Brad Pitt‘s ultra-exclusive dinner on Saturday, and yesterday, it was the venue for Jax Coco‘s intimate pre-screening cocktail party in honour of Devil’s Knot. Director Atom Egoyan palled around with stars Colin Firth and Stephen Moyer, and in a blast from the past we saw erstwhile MuchMusic VJ Amanda Walsh among the crowd. Reese Witherspoon’s plane landed late so she couldn’t make it to the shindig (looking this cute for the red carpet doesn’t happen in mere minutes). This may be the furthest TIFF stars have ventured since Drew Barrymore took over bar duties at Sweaty Betty’s.
