What it is: Hosted by the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) and lifestyle website TDot TV, this lounge paired philanthropy with a touch of glamour. The goal was to create awareness for CANFAR while pampering celebs with goodies and offering a makeover or two before a night on the town. Check out the swag, after the jump.

Who goes: Actors Meghan Heffern and Sebastian Pigott from Saw 3D perused the goodies at the lounge early in the week, and Tattiawna Jones, star of Guy Maddin’s Keyhole, Adam Sinclair and Olivia Andrup from Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy dropped by on the weekend. On Saturday, there was an inducting ceremony where Dean McDermott (yes, husband to Tori Spelling) and everyone’s favourite hobbit Billy Boyd donated a pair of their shoes to the museum. McDermott is in town filming the upcoming season of Tori & Dean, so expect a camera crew to be hanging around, but not Mary Jo Eustace.

What they get: Montreal-based Micalla offered its signature gemstone jewelry and its Callura collection, which is co-branded with Swarovski. Much of the jewelry may be recognizable from the catwalk at LG Fashion Week earlier this year, which is to say these pieces definitely make a statement—celebs snagged a smoky quartz and Swarovski crystal necklace, bronze mesh earrings, chunky rings and giant tangles of pearls (in blues and browns).  The swag also came with some pampering, thanks to makeup and hair artist Anna Nenoiu (she’s styled everyone from Carmen Electra to Sofia Coppola, Isabella Rossellini and Sarah Harmer). Expert photographer Don Miller (he’s shot for Vogue, Elle and Flare over the years) took some glamour shots of the makeovers. CANFAR also offered guests of the lounge a neat gift bag with some key ingredients for surviving the festival, including collagen firming eye pads from Elizabeth Grant and facial mist by Maya Water.
