CBS cancels Canadian cop drama The Bridge after three episodes
According to New York’s Vulture blog, CBS has cancelled The Bridge after three episodes. The CTV cop drama is loosely based on a Toronto officer’s experience working both the Rosedale and Regent Park neighbourhoods. But not even Battlestar Galactica alum Aaron Douglas could entice viewers in the States to watch.
The third episode was seen by 2.8 million people, and according to Vulture, “Even though CBS paid very little for The Bridge—less than $500,000 an episode, per industry estimates—the network decided that airing repeats of other CBS crime shows (starting with Cold Case this week) would make more sense.” CTV, on the other hand, has renewed the series for a second season.

CBS in unbeliveable were they cancel a show only after 3 episodes. They never gave the American viewer a chance to actually watch it. It is far better than some shows CBS airs now like all those stupid reality shows. We need some more action and drama to watch. I myself like cop shows etc.
Hopefully they will put this show in a later time slot and mmaybe during the week which should give it a better chance. Also they need to advertise it more to let viewers kknow it is on.
