The Maple Leafs may already have the NHL’s most expensive tickets (by a whopping 50 per cent), but that isn’t stopping Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from hiking prices by about 2.5 per cent starting next season. According to MLSE CEO Tom Anselmi, the increase, which will also hit Raptors ticket prices, is necessary because “costs have gone up dramatically…players salaries, operating costs, league costs.” (Forgive us, but we thought the NHL’s salary cap was dropping next year.)
