TTC is set to save busy bus routes by assuming a sweet, sweet budget surplus

Having discovered a magical budget surplus, the TTC could save service on some busy bus routes and delay cuts to others all the way until, um, February. TTC chair Karen Stintz attributed the surplus to diesel fuel prices. (Isn’t it amazing, the kind of problems that can be fixed when you’re willing to spend a surplus?).
