Nobody wants to endorse Doug Ford
This morning, Doug Ford gathered reporters for what he said would be an endorsement announcement. Except, there was no announcement. The entire purpose of the press conference, the CBC reports, was to give Ford an opportunity to denounce the very concept of political endorsements. “This is a political election and some people want to make it about political endorsements,” he said. (“Political,” in Fordspeak, is an insult word on par with “fascist.”) Ford also took the opportunity to taunt John Tory for supporting him and his brother in the 2010 election. And so, the one major mayoral candidate with no high-profile endorsements is also the one who is philosophically opposed to them. Convenient!
Of course it’s a political election. They are politicians. They are running for a political office. In fact, isn’t the phrase, “political election” redundant?
this comment is racist towards Doug Ford. #littleredapples
You caught me.
don’t be racist, vote Doug Ford. Subways. Taxpayers. Gravy train. Political elites.
HARSH.
And didn’t the Fords endorse Tory for mayor in 2003? And for Premier in 2007?
You forgot “folks”.
oh yeah. Thanks for the heads up, I edited it.
Sorry, you also forgot “buck naked men”
this is another racist comment against the Fords.
cool, thanks. I really need a master list. It used to be easy to memorize them all.
I feel your pain. Doug is almost achieving depth to his platform.
What a tool!
How is it racist, John? White Anglo Saxon Protestants are a ‘thing’, ya know? Sheesh.
“Racism isn’t just about religion and colour and race. It’s about going after someone relentlessly on a daily basis. You can be racist against people that eat little red apples, you can be racist against people that have a drinking problem, you can be racist against people that are too fat. So that’s my answer to that.”
– Doug Ford, July 2014.
What a tool! Oh sorry, is that a racist remark against tools?
If Tory is the pretentious $500 bottle of wine then Doug Ford must be the repurposed wine bottle the label torn off and “do not drunk!!!” written in bold magic marker.
Totally unqualified, totally untalented. Won’t answer any questions. Does not believe in truth-telling. After Ford(s) the damage is going to take some time to repair.
The tools would be offended by it. Yes. Surely the tools have a higher IQ.
An endorsement of a Ford would be social and professional suicide for any respectable person in a position of authority. Who wants to be associated with such clowns? Rob and Doug should stick with what they are good at, lying to their nation, cheating at every opportunity, mismanaging Deco Labels, and threatening with physical violence anyone they feel doesn’t agree completely with their way. Thirteen more days…
John Nunziata endorsed Doug Ford for mayor just as he registered. Frances Nunziata endorsed Rob Ford for mayor back in 2010, but is circulating around the answer this year.
Hey; that’s offensive to clowns, like Sketchy the Clown (VOTE FOR HIM! :D)
Rob Ford already done gone and drunk it *hic*
You’re correct. Sorry Sketchy.
Well, to be fair, this guy endorsed Doug Ford, to the point of sublimating his entire identity.

Some people drink the Kool-Aid – this guy bathes in it.
Clearly, like the shirtless jogger, he’s racist. Against…uh…endorsers?
By far, the most ignoRANT utterance by man or beast I’ve had the misfortune to hear. I know Doug Ford is even stupider than his siblings but this is really over the top. Doug, racism is about race. It’s almost the same word. Do not confuse this with people who live in communes. Most are not commune-ists. I am typing this slowly and have not exceeded to syllables (which you call silly balls). Stupid is as stupid doesn’t.
…two syllables (not that ‘to’)
Sure. Be stupid instead.
Hell, I’ll stick with racist. Silly tools. Useless tools. Rusty tools.
The problem is>> there are voters out there who will hear this DRIVEL and go “yea, right! Endorsements are too political! Go Dougie Ford!” << Our fears should still be around the IQ of the majority of those who get out and vote, as sadly demonstrated in our last mayoral election!!
It just demonstrates that a vote for Doug Ford is a wasted vote. Vote Tory!.
So sad. No one in business or politics will endorse Doug Ford. What a shock. No one thinks he’ll be the ‘best mayor’, no one wants to have to work with him, no one trusts or considers him a serious candidate. Yeah, looks like he’ll get a lot done in office: think about it Ford Nation. NO ONE WANTS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH DOUG FORD.
According to that Fordformayor poster, Doug has the momentum. He keeps repeating it ad nauseum, so he has to be on to something…
To…No More Ford…
Good for you……you hit the nail on the head
Less than 2 weeks to go…….then the Ford’s can clean out there desk’s….
Not another press conference…..No-one will ever endorse Doug Ford…because of all the back stabbing he has done to people over the pass 14 months……Doug runs a Zoo of names…….Monkeys, Apes, Maggots, Dog’s, Scum Bag’s, etc…….Hold the press………..
The Ford’s Have Lost The Race………They Tripped Over The Starting Line…….
