Giorgio Mammoliti smells another commie in the city’s midst
Giorgio Mammoliti is defending himself against calls for an audit of his campaign finances by painting his accuser as a radical left-winger—a move we like to call the Don Cherry defence. According to the Globe and Mail, Mammoliti is accusing retired Toronto teacher David DePoe, the man behind the request for a compliance audit, of participating in “radical student movements” and “joining the Communist Party.” Naturally, we assumed Mammoliti sniffed out DePoe’s political past—but the Globe says he cited an online reference to a book from the ’60s. More importantly, we can’t help but notice that Mammoliti is attacking his accuser based on his alleged commie character, not the content of his claims. Read the entire story [Globe and Mail] »
I think it’s disgusting when the LIEberal media picks on brave patriots like Giorgio Mammolitti who only seek to protect people from being influenced by the red menace. There is no reason for this vicious attack on Mammolitti’s accusations. Have reporters no sense of decency? At long last!
Seriously though, Sen. McCarthy is Americas greatest conservative hero, after Saint Ronnie. We need more men like them, and Mammolitti, to protect us from the horrors of communism. Do we really want to wake up and find a flag bearing the dreaded hammer and sicle flying from the spire of the CN Tower (which would obviously be renamed the Stalin Spire)?
No.
So, though others may mock, I salute. I salute you, Giorgio. I salute you bravery, and wish you success on your hunt. Godspeed.
