Find out which city councillors are Facebook and Twitter junkies

A screen shot of Paul Ainslie’s top-scoring Facebook page

In the spirit of both June and council report cards, Campaign School, a project from the Academy of the Impossible, evaluated city councillors on their online presence. We hoped the report cards would reveal which councillors are guilty of fake candid bikini shots and overuse of duck face, but the project turned out to be about their ability to reach people across platforms (which we guess is also a worthy endeavour). Paul Ainslie and Shelley Carroll proved to be keeners, each earning an A- for having updated websites, active Twitter accounts and decent Facebook activity, while Rob Ford earned a C for his dry tweets, a website that says “Thank you for visiting” (and not much else) and a few starring roles in YouTube videos. See all the report cards [Campaign School at Academy of the Impossible] »
