—The amount of money Postmedia, parent company of the National Post and many other newspapers, is paying to buy Quebecor’s 175 English-language papers, according to the Globe. Quebecor’s holdings include the entire Sun chain, which the Montreal-based media giant bought with the rest of Sun Media in 1998 for $983,000,000.
